Proposal for an exhibition pavilion made entirely from circular materials and is envisioned on two different sites - the Floriade Expo and the gardens of Palais Soesdijk.

The Pavilion ‚De Volgende Stap‘ celebrates the cultural legacy of Paleis Soestdijk and the Dutch heritage of willow weaving, while announcing innovations of a sustainable future. Through the unification of biological and technical materials, the pavilion exemplifies the fascinating possibilities of a circular built environment. The reviving power of nature is introduced to the public by the simple act of planting a seed, both physically and as an ideal of sustainable awareness to take home.
